Of all the characters that have appeared in novels, comics and on screen the one that has most grabbed my interest is the ill-fated Eric Draven. From the original comics by James O'Barr, The
Crow has become a kind of obession that has extended from kits, to prepaints, collectors cards, novels and much more.

Kitchen Sink set out to produce a bi-month 'Crow' magazine that would have included new stories, poems and artwork, with the promise of new material from James O'Barr himself. At least one issue '#0' reached the stores, however the fate of numbers 1 & 2 are unknown as Kitchen Sink went belly up around this time. |

At the time Kitchen Sink starting to produce their bi-monthly 'Crow' magazine they released the news that a new Crow series was due from original creator James O'Barr. Unfortunately they went belly up before it could be released. |

At the time of their demise Kitchen Sink had an impressive schedule of Crow related releases, as suggested above. But in addition was the news that an 'author edition' of the original Crow story was due for release. Unfortunately it never saw the light of day. |

Top Dollar, who were involved with Kitchen Sink, joined forces with London Night comics to publish a crossover series featuring The Crow and Razor. Writtern by Everette Hartsoe, and dreawn by Jerry Beck ech issue came with different covers, and the series itself inluded many specials including Tour editions, a lost chapter and finale edition. |

A large format 'magazine' style released by London Night and Top Dollar that was designed to cash in on the popularity of the Crow/Razor series. Nocturnal Masque featured artwork from the series creators and from James O'Barr himself. |

McFarlane commissioned a produced a new 'up-dated' version of the original Crow story, it mixed the original with elements from the film starring Brandon Lee. IThe story was spread over ten, monthly, issues. |

Having achieved some success with the monthly comic, McFalane collected the story together for release as a two volume graphic novel. |

With the success of the comic series and the two graphic novels MacFarlane released the first of a monthly magazine. It contained parts of the story featured in the comics along with interviews and articles all related to The Crow. The first issue included a history of the Crow, and an interview with James O'Barr. Unfortunately only one issue was published. |

I have seen the suggestion that novelisations were written for both the original Crow film and the sequal, City of Angels, but I have never been able confirmed this, and have never seen them for sale, or anyone offering information or details of their existence. However six original novels have been published.
